Telegram Mini App for team management
Built a Telegram Mini App for restaurant team task tracking: assignments, statuses, deadlines, KPI monitoring. The entire team adopted it within a week.
Challenge
Sushi-Love had 10 office employees assigning tasks in the work Telegram chat. Tasks drowned in the message stream, deadlines slipped. The manager spent 2-3 hours at month-end manually counting KPIs. They tried Trello and Notion - people forgot to check them. Everyone was already in Telegram all day.
Technical details
Solution
I built a Telegram Mini App on Vue 3. Auth via Telegram Web App API - open the bot, tap a button, you're in. Simple interface: color-coded task statuses, filters, two-tap task creation. On assignment - bot notification, day before deadline - reminder, on overdue - manager alert. KPIs calculated automatically: on-time percentage, average completion time, overdue count. Backend on Node.js with PostgreSQL.
Result
The team adopted it within a week - everything inside familiar Telegram, nothing to install. Tasks stopped getting lost in chat, overdue count dropped noticeably. The manager stopped spending time on manual KPI tracking - reports generate with one button press.
